Early Childhood Education (ECE) Special Education Teacher | Saint Clair Shores, Michigan

Working 36.25 hours per week, your schedule runs from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, with morning duties only—no afternoon obligations. You'll play a vital part providing both direct and indirect Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) services and be responsible as the IEP case manager for a diverse group of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with a ZA (Early Childhood Education), ZA (Early Childhood PK), or ZA (Early Childhood SPED) endorsement
- Deep understanding of IDEA, MARSE, and the full spectrum of IEP compliance requirements
- Experience supporting students with needs in behavior, communication, sensory integration, feeding/toileting, and developmental domains preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage IEP development, evaluations, progress monitoring, and transition planning
- Coordinate services as both a direct service provider and in a consultative capacity
- Serve as a critical liaison with families, support staff, and outside agencies to support students’ individualized needs
