Open Special Education Assignments:
- Assessment Teacher: Conduct student evaluations, participate in eligibility determinations, and support IEP development district-wide.
- Setting III/IV (Restore Program): Deliver specialized support for students with significant behavioral, emotional, and academic needs at the high school level.
- ASD Center-Based (Elementary): Provide direct instruction to elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a structured, center-based program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or a related field
- Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Proven IEP development and case management skills
- In-depth knowledge of IDEA, compliance, and collaboration practices
Preferred Experience:
- Expertise with ASD, Setting III/IV, assessment roles, or self-contained classrooms
- Training in PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, BIPs, and crisis intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Provide individualized, specialized instruction
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; lead/facilitate meetings
