This opportunity includes both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and flexible part-time options within a supportive early childhood program. You’ll work closely with two experienced paraeducators per classroom, focusing on groups of 6–8 students, with the benefit of dedicated planning and paperwork time.

Qualifications:

  • Valid MDE Early Childhood Special Education License (required)
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting early childhood students, preferably in self-contained or special education environments
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability and dedication to student growth and individualized learning

Responsibilities:

  • Implement developmentally appropriate instruction for small groups of early learners with special needs
  • Design and deliver IEP-driven lessons that ensure each child’s success
  • Work closely with paraeducators and engage in collaborative planning
  • Maintain student records, attend meetings, and support team decisions
  • Participate as a float sub or in program-wide initiatives as needed
