Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license is required
- Experience in early childhood and Pre-K settings, particularly with resource or inclusion models, strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP (Individualized Education Program) development and implementation
- Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable to a dynamic classroom environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Guide and support Pre-K students with diverse learning needs in both resource and inclusive classrooms
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Collaborate closely with general educators, school staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate multiple learning styles and promote student growth
