Qualifications and Experience:

- Experience working with intensive needs (self-contained) populations preferred
- Adaptable to a variety of age groups (grades 6-post secondary and elementary multi-grade)
- Comfortable managing caseloads of approximately 10 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability and willingness to travel for school-based needs (including fly-in assignments)
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction for students with intensive needs in self-contained settings
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction to best support academic and behavioral goals
- Provide specialized support and modifications for students, ensuring access to curriculum
- Collaborate with general education faculty to integrate inclusive practices
- For the fly-in role: teach both Special Education and General Education to an elementary multi-grade class, balancing responsibilities throughout the school day
