Special Education Teacher | Swanton, Vermont

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility
- Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instructional support for students with varying needs in K-8 classrooms
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals in partnership with staff and families
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment
- Consult with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and behavioral interventionists to support student achievement
- Monitor student growth and maintain documentation per school and district guidelines
- Contribute to a positive and safe educational atmosphere
Additional Details:
- Positions start August 20th, with school hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- The contract runs for a 37.5-week academic year
- Multiple Behavioral Interventionist roles available across a range of K-8 grades
- Flexible interview scheduling is available next Wednesday between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM (in person is preferred, but accommodations can be made)
