Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-21) Endorsement
- Previous experience within special education, learning services, or support for significant needs (preferred)
- Ability to manage caseloads with students who have mild-moderate to significant cognitive/communicative disabilities
- Willingness to work onsite and adapt to different school cultures
- Up-to-date reference documentation and successful completion of required fingerprint/background checks
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver full-time learning services to middle school students, supporting either mild-moderate or significant needs cases
- Develop and implement IEPs, track student progress, and collaborate with educators and families
- Adapt to one or two school placements based on assignment
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment
