Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher required
- Demonstrated success supporting high-needs students, specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Skilled at working with K-5th grade learners
- Open to both new and seasoned professionals (no specific state licensure required)
- Adaptable, empathetic, and proactive in student support
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction and individualized support to a small caseload (8-10 students) of K-5th graders
- Implement specialized education plans for students with ASD
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and school leaders
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in staff training and preservice programs from August 10th to August 21st
- Fulfill full-time hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, following the school calendar
