Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license (required)
- Experience working with K-6th grade students, particularly in ASD settings
- Strong classroom management and IEP development skills

- Passion for creating inclusive and adaptive learning environments
- Previous experience in a similar elementary special education role is highly valued
What You'll Do:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction to elementary students with ASD, supporting their unique learning styles
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education staff to facilitate inclusion and support academic as well as social-emotional growth
- Partner with families, specialists, and administration to ensure student progress and advocacy
- Maintain organized records, monitor student performance, and adjust interventions as needed
- Contribute to a positive school culture by fostering dignity, encouragement, and growth for each child
