Special Education Teacher in Maple Grove, MN

Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching certificate, Tier 3 or 4 (must be submitted along with resume)
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with students exhibiting emotional and behavioral disorders
- Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Familiarity or interest in STEM-focused elementary settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) designed to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Employ evidence-based strategies to foster academic and social-emotional growth
- Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive, supportive environments
- Utilize specialized tools and data for progress monitoring and documenting student achievement
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives, including innovative STEM programs and projects
