Take pride in leading a center-based Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) classroom, supporting approximately six K–2 students in a dynamic, high-support setting. Your expertise will be essential in fostering growth and development for students with significant behavioral needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License
- EBD licensure strongly preferred
- Track record supporting students with significant behavioral needs
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs/BIPs
- Skilled in behavior intervention, de-escalation, and classroom consulting
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a Level 3 behavior setting highly prioritized
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in K–2 center-based special education
- Familiarity with PBIS, CPI, and restorative practices
- Knowledge of trauma-informed instructional techniques
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support an EBD classroom (K–2)
- Guide and mentor support staff
- Implement behavioral interventions and proactive strategies
- Foster a safe and engaging classroom climate
- Collaborate in developing and tracking IEPs/BIPs
