Special Education Teacher | Bapchule, Arizona

This full-time contract position centers on serving preschool-aged children (3–5 years old) in a welcoming, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to preschool students during both AM and PM sessions, adapting lessons to meet a variety of learning needs.
- Partner with the Child Find team in writing, implementing, and maintaining effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students as they are identified.
- Monitor student progress, participate in assessments, and gather data to inform instructional strategies.
- Engage in IEP meetings, collaborative team planning, and school-wide staff meetings to share insights and support student growth.
- Dedicate Wednesdays to professional development and planning, fostering continual growth as an educator (no direct student contact that day).
- Maintain open, consistent communication with families and related service providers to create a unified support system for each student.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for Arizona.
- Experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged students in special education settings.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
