- Collaborating closely with the Child Find team to write and carry out IEPs for newly identified students.
- Maintaining compliant, effective IEPs in alignment with student goals.
- Participating in student assessments, ongoing progress monitoring, and systematic data collection.
- Contributing to IEP meetings, collaborative team planning, and regular staff discussions.
- Joining Wednesday professional development and planning sessions (no student contact on these days, allowing for preparation and growth).
- Communicating consistently with families and other service providers to build strong support systems for each child.
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related area.
- A valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Compassionate approach with a collaborative mindset and proven early childhood special education experience.
