Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Schedule: 35 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a student-centered district in Clinton, IL to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position working primarily with early childhood learners. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about early intervention and experienced in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies.
Make a lasting difference by supporting young learners as they develop foundational communication skills in a collaborative, play-based environment.
Position Overview
Caseload: Approximately 40 students (subject to adjustment)
Grade Levels: Primarily PreK, with occasional Kindergarten support
Service Model: Mix of push-in services and dedicated therapy space
IEP System:Embrace (training/support available)
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy aligned with IEP goals
Implement and support AAC devices and communication systems
Collaborate with teachers and early childhood staff in classroom settings
Conduct evaluations, maintain records, and track student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and family communication
Qualifications
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
Strong background or hands-on experience with AAC devices and strategies
School-based or early childhood experience preferred
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
