Qualifications & Experience
- Valid CDE Special Education (SPED) teaching license
- Previous experience working with students with significant support needs (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to inclusive, child-centered education
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in a self-contained classroom for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade (6–13 students)
- Work closely with 2–3 paraprofessionals to provide individualized and group support
- Implement IEPs, track student progress, and maintain documentation
- Participate in school team meetings and professional development
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning climate
