Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials and certification required
- Experience working with an elementary caseload preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs
- Organizational skills to manage case files and schedules efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and interventions tailored to individual education plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom culture
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students’ differing needs and abilities
