Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Teaching Credential with one or more of the following:
    • Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities)
    • Academic & Behavioral Strategist License (optional)
  • Strong attendance history
  • Demonstrated expertise in behavior strategies and problem-solving
  • Effective collaborator with strong instructional skills
  • Experience scheduling and coordinating with paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality special education services to a diverse caseload which may include elementary and middle school students plus center-based behavioral support
  • Implement behavior plans and classroom routines
  • Collaborate with general and special education colleagues
  • Monitor student progress and communicate with families
  • Maintain compliance with all required documentation and licensure
