Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching credential in one or more of the following: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood Special Education, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Generic Special Education, or Academic & Behavioral Strategist
- Solid understanding of behavior management strategies, classroom routines, and developmental supports
- Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring effective behavior intervention plans
- Collaborative approach when working with colleagues in both special education and general education settings
- Skilled in scheduling and directing paraprofessionals in classroom support roles
- Reliable attendance and commitment to supporting consistent student progress
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized educational services in a resource, center-based, or early childhood setting as assigned
- Cover FMLA leave, ensuring continuity of instruction and individualized support
- Develop, adapt, and implement effective instructional materials and behavior plans
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education staff
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
