Elementary Special Education Teacher in Carlsbad, NM

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid NMPED teaching certificate is required

- Knowledge of best practices in inclusive and resource classroom instruction
- Positive attitude, creativity, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying abilities
- Modify curriculum to ensure access and success for all learners
- Track and document student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and strategies
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and self-advocacy skills
