Special Education Teacher | Portales, New Mexico

Multiple positions are available to match your expertise, from high school English and Biology (requiring HS certification) to middle school resource, intensive learning center elementary roles, inclusion settings, and Pre-K Special Education. All positions are on-site only and require active New Mexico licensure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license
- High School certification for SPED English and Biology roles essential
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience supporting a range of disabilities in diverse educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver instruction tailored to students’ learning needs
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse abilities
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
