Special Education Teacher - Cottage Grove, OR

You will benefit from paraprofessional support in your classroom, allowing you to focus on instruction and individualized programming.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement required
- Experience working with elementary students, particularly those with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and fellow educators
- Adaptability and dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction and support in both self-contained and resource room settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, specialists, and families
