Special Education Teacher | Creswell, Oregon

Some students may require full-day support in a specialized setting, while others participate in inclusive classrooms and receive targeted special education services as needed. Paraprofessional support is provided to help ensure an optimal instructional environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Oregon Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement.
- Experience teaching or supporting elementary-aged students in a special education setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet varied learning needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide direct instruction to students in both specialized and general education settings.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and classroom teachers.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and engage families as partners in their child’s education.
