Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Elementary Life Skills | Gresham, OR
Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time Elementary Life Skills position in the Gresham, Oregon area for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details
- Location: Gresham, OR
- Assignment Dates: August 25, 2026 – June 21, 2027
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Elementary School
- Program: Life Skills
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students within an Elementary Life Skills program
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring records
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional skill development
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Special Education teaching license
- Appropriate Special Education endorsement(s)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

- Interviews are expected to take place during the first or second week of August.
- Professional references are required prior to interview consideration.
