- Previous work in center-based programs or life skills classrooms highly valued
- Ability to thrive in a team-based model working with paras, co-teachers, and specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning profiles
- Facilitate engaging, differentiated instruction in either affective needs, structured learning services (SLS), or significant support needs (SSN) classrooms
- Collaborate closely with a team of paraprofessionals, educators, and related service providers
- Create structured, supportive classroom environments where every student feels safe and able to succeed
- Use assistive technology and communication devices to promote independence and access for all learners
- Build foundational life and social-emotional skills for students, preparing them for daily success
