Special Education Teacher in Fall River, MA
Step into an impactful contract position supporting high school students in an inclusive classroom environment. This high school special education teaching opportunity begins September 1, 2026, and extends through June 17, 2027, offering you the chance to guide and empower learners in a collaborative school setting near Fall River, MA. With a 35-hour work week across five days, you’ll focus on fostering student growth and success, serving a caseload to be determined within a dynamic and supportive team.

Qualifications:
- Active DESE Special Education Teaching Certification for grades 5-12
- Experience working in high school inclusive or special education settings preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Understanding of IEP processes and differentiated instruction
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, equitable instruction in an inclusion classroom
- Collaborate with general educators and support staff to ensure student success
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored for each learner’s unique needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding student performance
