Qualifications:
- Active DESE Special Education Teaching Certification for grades 5-12
- Previous experience working in high school settings or with adolescent learners preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for co-teaching in an inclusion classroom
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a range of learning needs
- Commitment to professional growth and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to high school students in an inclusion setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Monitor and document student performance and make data-driven instructional decisions
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
Pay for this role is $45 per hour. You’ll work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from September 1, 2026, through June 17, 2027.
