Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state eligibility required)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Prior experience in K-12 special education settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and commitment to serving diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support for students with special needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Engage with families to support student progress and success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
