This full-time onsite role, with consistent hours from 8:00AM to 2:30PM, places you in a supportive educational environment, working directly with 2nd and 3rd grade students who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts license/certification for Moderate or Severe Disabilities
- Previous school-based Special Education teaching experience
- Successful completion of CORI check and fingerprints (a letter of suitability from a previous employer may be accepted)
- Comfortable leading lessons, developing IEPs, and implementing accommodations for students with special needs
- Willingness to participate in a virtual (Zoom) interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver targeted instruction for 2nd and 3rd graders with developmental or intellectual challenges
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support each child’s unique developmental goals
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom community onsite
