Position Details
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- 2026–2027 school year assignments
- Multiple openings across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Caseloads and responsibilities may vary by assignment
- Opportunities may include:
- One-on-one student support
- Classroom paraprofessional support
- Behavioral support roles
- Special education classroom assistance

- Life skills classrooms
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students
- Support implementation of IEP accommodations and behavior plans
- Assist with classroom management and student engagement
- Help students with transitions and daily routines
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the school setting
- Support students socially and emotionally throughout the school day
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or paraprofessional certification preferred
- Illinois paraprofessional licensure or approval may be required depending on assignment
- Previous experience working with children or in school settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
