Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience with grades 6–8 preferred
- Familiarity with case management and developing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments quickly
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Special Education Teacher and Case Manager for 6th–8th grade students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Work Monday through Thursday, 7:45am–4:15pm
- Communicate with families, staff, and external agencies to support student needs
