Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Nevada Special Education teaching license required
- Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school environments
- Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive, equitable classrooms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and staff
- Ability to develop and adapt IEPs to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lessons and interventions aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student success
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture that values diversity and inclusion
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction based on data and observations
- Engage and communicate regularly with families and guardians
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
