Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana DOE Certification with SPED endorsement (strictly required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Special Education
- Flexibility and willingness to serve as an itinerant teacher across multiple schools
- Expertise in IEP writing, data collection, progress reporting, and classroom support
- Ability to collaborate with non-certified teachers and provide training as needed
- Successful completion of district-required drug test, fingerprints, and background check
Core Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance and support to non-certified educators in special education environments
- Assist with IEP development, progress monitoring, and instructional strategies
- Travel between schools as assigned, fostering continuity and best practices across the district
- Support compliance with educational standards and district policies
