Typical Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction to students in a self-contained special education classroom
- Develop and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment
- Communicate with caregivers, staff, and specialists to support student growth
- Document progress and deliver regular updates on student development
