- Experience working with elementary students in a self-contained or resource setting is a plus
- Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills
- Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead instruction in a self-contained special education classroom, adapting lessons to meet students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Develop and implement differentiated instructional strategies that foster academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with related service providers, classroom staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP goals, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing school activities
