Special Education Teacher | Marysville, California

Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential, appropriate for K-12 or ability to obtain one
- Previous experience in a K-12 special education classroom preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for supporting students with special needs and tailoring instructional approaches
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse learning needs in accordance with their IEPs
- Develop differentiated lesson plans and classroom activities
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other staff to support inclusion
- Monitor and assess student progress, updating IEPs and communicating results to families
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and meet requirements for compliance and documentation
