- Immediate availability for a quick start
- Willingness to work onsite and adapt to assignment details as caseload and school assignments are determined
- Prior experience in Special Education preferred, with confidence in supporting diverse learners across age groups
- Clear professional standing: drug screen and fingerprinting required for district credentialing
- Flexibility and professionalism to respond to district scheduling needs and onboarding processes
- NOTE: Only fully licensed, currently certified educators will be considered—candidates in the process of obtaining credentials cannot be accepted at this time
Responsibilities include:
- Providing specialized instruction and support to students with special needs, helping each child reach their academic and social goals
- Collaborating with general education teachers and school staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress, communicating effectively with parents, and maintaining all required documentation
- Adapting lesson plans to meet the unique requirements of your caseload
- Supporting a positive, inclusive classroom environment
This contract is slated for 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), offering consistency and a focused work schedule.
