- Learning Support for Grades 1st & 2nd: Work with small breakout groups (up to 12 students), offering targeted instruction in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
- Learning Support for Grades 2nd & 3rd: Provide the same dedicated support for small groups in essential academic subjects.
- Kindergarten, Inclusion: Play a vital role inside the classroom, supporting inclusion and individualized learning strategies.
This full-time role begins August 19th for teachers, with the school year starting September 2nd for students. Work hours run from 8:00am to 3:45pm, offering a structured weekday schedule.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and active Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working in elementary or early childhood special education settings
- Skill in planning and delivering differentiated instruction based on student needs
- Ability to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing individualized and small-group instructional plans
- Supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth
- Collaborating on IEP development and progress monitoring
- Building relationships with families and support staff to maximize student success
- Maintaining detailed documentation and reporting on student performance
