Special Education Teacher in North Little Rock, AR

Elementary responsibilities include teaching all subjects for K-2 students, as well as providing targeted English Language Arts instruction for grades 3-6. Middle school openings are available for dedicated ELA and Math teachers. These roles provide valuable opportunities to utilize your specialized expertise and make a direct impact on student success.
To thrive in these roles, candidates should have:
- An active Special Education teaching license
- Proven experience working with children diagnosed with dyslexia
- Strong organizational abilities to support individualized learning plans
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and families
- Passion for creating supportive, inclusive environments
- Familiarity with evidence-based interventions for literacy and/or mathematics
Core responsibilities include:
- Delivering standards-aligned instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Developing and implementing effective IEPs

- Building strong relationships with students and caregivers
- Collaborating regularly with general educators and support staff
- Maintaining accurate records of student growth
