Openings are available in both elementary (K-2, all subjects; 3rd-6th grade ELA) and middle school settings (ELA and Math). Each classroom maintains a manageable caseload of 10-12 students, allowing for meaningful, individualized instruction. The schedule runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, following the academic calendar from August 5, 2026, through June 2, 2027.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid and current Special Education licensure
- Direct experience working with children with dyslexia
- Familiarity with elementary or middle school curriculum (ELA and/or Math)
- Skill in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication abilities with students, colleagues, and families
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction in ELA, Math, or all subjects, tailored for K-6 or middle school learners
- Address diverse learning needs, employing strategies to support students diagnosed with dyslexia
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student growth
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage with families to communicate successes and needs
