You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 10-12 students, tailoring instruction and support for learners with a range of needs, particularly those with dyslexia. The school day runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and the contract extends from August 5, 2026, through June 2, 2027, offering both structure and work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Special Education License required
- Previous classroom experience in Special Education
- Demonstrated expertise supporting students with dyslexia
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction and data-driven educational strategies
- Ability to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborative spirit to communicate effectively with families and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized lesson plans for a small caseload
- Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in assigned subject areas
- Use assessments to track progress and modify interventions as needed
- Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers
- Communicate learning goals, progress, and strategies with parents and guardians
