Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification; Moderate/Severe credential highly desired, especially for HS in Dysart
- Experience serving students with autism, developmental, behavioral, intellectual, or learning disabilities
- Adaptable to multiple locations and grade levels (K–22)
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong skills in behavior management, lesson planning, and IEP implementation
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured instruction for students in foundational academics, behavior regulation, social-emotional learning, or life/career skills
- Provide high levels of support and individualized strategies tailored to elementary (ages 5–10), upper elementary/middle (ages 9–14), or high school/transition students (ages 14–22)
- Foster independence, peer relationships, and readiness for next academic or life stages
- Utilize data-driven approaches and collaborate on IEP teams
- Rotate between 4 school locations as assigned, adhering to a 7:45am–3:15pm schedule
