Your role will involve:
- Delivering individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs in grades PK-5
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaboratively setting goals with parents, teachers, and service providers
- Utilizing evidence-based strategies to foster student engagement and positive behavior
- Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed to maximize student achievement
- Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed and involved
- Partnering with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and classroom environments
Ideal candidates bring:
- Current teaching certification in Special Education or eligibility for certification in Colorado
- Experience working with elementary students in a special education capacity preferred
- Proficiency with IEP development, documentation, and compliance processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping diverse learners realize their full potential
