Qualifications:

  • MD Special Education Certification for grades 6-12 required
  • MD Math Certification for grades 6-12 required (Math-certified candidates eligible for Special Education certification may apply)
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with learning disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging math instruction to middle school students (6th–8th grade) in a special education setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and parents
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
