What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential (MUST have)
- Experience teaching or supporting elementary special education students, preferably with M/M caseloads
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and related service providers
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and create an inclusive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Assess ongoing progress and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
- Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with families and faculty
- Foster a supportive, positive classroom culture that encourages growth and participation
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
