Special Education Teacher | Sunnyvale, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active California Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching credential (required)
- Demonstrated experience with moderate to severe needs (ESN) caseloads preferred
- Passion for differentiated instruction, individualized support, and inclusive teaching practices
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with students, families, and team members
- Strong organizational abilities to manage IEP processes, documentation, and daily classroom routines
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct instruction, interventions, and behavioral supports tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with classroom assistants, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for IEP meetings and progress monitoring
