Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Special Education licensure required
- High School Certification needed for designated high school roles
- Experience with individualized education programs, academic modifications, and collaborative teaching models is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver differentiated instruction and provide specialized academic support based on student needs
- Work closely with support staff, related service providers, and general education teachers to ensure student growth and success
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports
- Engage in regular family and team meetings to discuss student progress and adaptations
- Participates in professional development and ongoing school activities
