Special Education Teacher | Ulm, Montana

Key Qualifications:
- Possession of Montana Special Educator Certification (required)
- Experience delivering special education instruction, particularly in a resource room or similar environment
- Commitment to fostering academic, social, and emotional growth for diverse learners
- Comfortable collaborating with paraprofessionals, general educators, and families
- Strong organizational skills to manage case files, IEPs, and compliance timelines
- Ability to differentiate instruction and employ a wide variety of teaching methods
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to both middle and high school students, supporting individualized education plans
- Primarily instruct in a resource room model, providing targeted interventions and academic support
- Collaborate closely with a small team, coordinating with one-to-one paras for students with higher-level needs
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation to ensure ongoing student success and regulatory compliance
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and school staff to promote student achievement and well-being
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing goals and progress monitoring
