Key Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with medically fragile or high-needs children
- Strong understanding of individualized education program (IEP) implementation

- Previous 1:1 instructional experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and educational staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 instruction tailored to the student’s unique learning needs
- Schedule and conduct 2-3 hour teaching sessions per day at the nursing home
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that align with the student’s IEP goals
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and adjust instruction as necessary
- Communicate and coordinate with nursing home staff, parents/guardians, and district educators to ensure comprehensive support
