Key Qualifications:
- Active license with Tier 3 or 4 status, including ASD or DCD endorsement
- Experience working with students in DCD/ASD classroom settings preferred
- Strong skills in developing and adapting individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and classroom management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead instruction in a Setting 3 classroom for approximately 6-10 students
- Design and implement tailored lesson plans, adapting materials for individual needs
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with related service providers and families
- Provide a structured, caring environment fostering academic, social, and emotional growth
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development
- Partner with staff to ensure consistency and support across the student’s school experience
