Position Details:
- Assignment runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027
- Full-time, Monday through Friday; 37.5 hours per week
- Work onsite in a supportive school environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification required (Tier 3 or 4)
- Experience or interest in working with elementary students with developmental and cognitive delays
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Strong commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students enrolled in the DCD Centerbase program
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with tailored student goals
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet each learner’s needs and abilities
- Work closely with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers for holistic student support
- Assess student progress, document performance, and participate in regular meetings as necessary
