Special Education Teacher | Maple Grove, Minnesota

This full-time, onsite contract position is ideal for passionate Special Education Teachers with expertise in DCD Centerbase programs and a commitment to fostering growth and inclusion.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Current Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Teaching Certification in Special Education (required; must be attached with resume)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with developmental and cognitive delays
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster supportive relationships with students and families
• Ability to adapt curriculum, instruction, and materials to meet a diverse range of learning needs
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-focused education
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and support students in a Centerbase environment, tailoring lessons to individual educational goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and professional teams
• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, therapists, paraprofessionals, and administrators
• Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians through regular communication and progress updates
• Maintain accurate records and document student growth
This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with regular daytime hours, allowing for work-life balance and the chance to build lasting connections within the school community.
